Menopause Support
Though menopause can present some inconveniences and discomforts, women who are healthy and take good care of themselves are usually able to handle the menopausal transition with little difficulty and many women find it is the beginning of a new, fulfilling time in their lives. Stamford Hospital provides a variety of options for women interested in seeking support through the menopausal transition.
We work collaboratively with your own physician to provide multidisciplinary care and treatment of menopause. Our staff works closely with specialists in a variety of related areas, including digestion, urogynecology, heart health, diabetes and cancer, so our patients benefit from a team approach to care. We offer consultation, diagnostic testing and support services for perimenopausal and menopausal women. For women interested in seeking alternative therapies, we offer integrative care as well.
