Urogynecology Center

Many women feel embarrassed or ashamed about female incontinence and other matters relating to pelvic health, but these urogynecological problems are both more common and more easily solved than most realize. Almost always, there are solutions - often non-surgical ones - and incontinence does not need to be a source of discomfort or accepted as an inevitable aspect of aging among women. At Stamford Hospital's Southern Connecticut Center for Urogynecology, our doctors offer caring support and treatment in the form of comprehensive consultation and medical-condition management for women who suffer from lower urinary-tract disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Urogynecology is the medical specialty involving treatment for urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal incontinence, overactive bladder and interstitial cystitis. These are treatable, manageable conditions. Women receive personalized, compassionate care at the Southern Connecticut Center for Urogynecology.
