Our Family Birthing Center has been designed with your family's well-being as our first priority. We offer an advanced level of medical care for mothers and babies, the most caring doctors, comfortable and welcoming facilities, and a wide variety of education and support services, in a high-tech setting that we have worked to make friendly and beautiful.

Our facilities include:

• 12 spacious, well-equipped birthing rooms, enabling you to check in, labor, deliver and recover in one comfortable, beautifully decorated space. In addition to having state-of-the-art medical equipment, each room has its own large shower and bathroom facilities, a computer hook-up with Internet access, color TV, telephone and stereo system, comfortable seating for labor coaches, lots of storage space for personal belongings—along with original artwork on the walls and an exterior view of our lovely private courtyard.
• Two operating theaters for cesarean section deliveries, equipped for high-risk deliveries and multiple births
• 32 private patient rooms for postpartum recovery, individually decorated in natural, soothing tones, with a large bathroom and shower; plenty of space for baby to room-in, if desired; comfortable seating for visitors; television, telephone and stereo systems.
• A 16-bed Neonatal INtensive Care Unit, providing the most advanced level of medical care available in Fairfield County, for newborns who need extra support in the first hours and days of life.
• An in-house 24/7 coverage by pediatric hospitalists, who have completed additional training in caring for pediatric patients in the hospital setting.
• A Childbirth Education and Resource Center, and the Women's Health Center, offering a wide range of childbirth preparation, infant care and parenting classes, along with information and support from pre-conception through baby's first year of life. A Lactation Consulting Office will provide education and support to women who are breastfeeding their infants.
• A Perinatology Center, providing comprehensive genetic counseling services and an advanced fetal diagnostic center.
• Intensive security services, including video monitoring and nursery security system.
• Comfortable visitor lounges and waiting areas, equipped with televisions, telephones, Internet access and more.
