Mother-to-Mother Groups

It's wonderful to be able to share the experiences (all of them!) with other new moms, dealing with the same sleeping and feeding dilemmas, struggling with the same feelings and questions. Stamford Hospital's Mother to Mother groups meet weekly at Stamford Hospital's Whittingham Pavilion to discuss parenting topics and introduce mothers and babies to others in the area. The groups are open to all moms, including adoptive mothers and those who delivered elsewhere.

Tiny Miracles Foundation

Founded by two mothers whose babies were all born and cared for at Stamford Hospital, Tiny Miracles Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation that began as a "preemie network" to connect women whose children were in Stamford Hospital's NICU with others who had shared similar experiences. The Tiny Miracles Foundation provides in hospital parent mentor support, matching new parents with mentors. They also provide useful preemie supply bags, emergency financial assistance  and manage an in hospital resource room providing families with educational resources.
